What is special about it

Pangea Adventure Racing approached pH3 with a request to design and develop a web presence based on an idea that didn’t yet exist. We took the direction and made it happen in the following areas: optimize the website for search engines, take advantage of emerging devices (iPad/iPhone compatibility), advanced calendar of events with ability to register, create custom team pages and racer profiles, create custom scoring system and detailed stats for each race and event, blog and educational news pages to engage a new thriving community, provide a forum and other community features specific to adventure racing, provide analytical data for tracking and reporting, and the ability for staff to make content updates themselves along with creating custom races and points system from a custom back-end. Contao provided the perfect CMS platform for implementing all our objectives along with some custom development.

Pangea Adventure Racing is the #1 producer of this multi-discipline sport in Florida, producing more adventure races than any other promoter in the United States. We’re not just about racing, we’re about adventure—-like navigating historic coastal waterways to cycling through the mud to ziplining across the treetops in the moonlight. We offer an easy crossover for mountain bikers, cyclists, runners, triathletes, water sport enthusiasts and even gym-goers looking for a little outdoor adventure.
