Version 4.0 of the Contao Live Update now checks your custom templates after the update and outputs a diff view of the changes.

Contao version 3.0.RC2 is available. The second release candidate includes several stability improvements for the database-assisted file system and the version 3 update as well as a long list of bugfixes.

Contao version 2.11.6 is available. The bugfix release fixes a couple of issues, including the problem with playing Vimeo videos in the mediabox on iOS devices.

With the upcoming Contao 3 release, there will also be a major change in how core translations are managed.

The Contao Check has been overworked and extended with some new features like a web installer and the Live Update check. Also, the project is now available on GitHub.

Contao version 3.0.RC1 is available. The release candidate includes all new features of version 3.0 and is now subject to bug fixing on the way to the final release.

Version 3.0 of the Contao Live Update now creates backups of the database and restores them automatically when you upgrade or downgrade your installation.

Contao version 2.11.5 is available. The bugfix release fixes a couple of issues, including the SOAP compression problem in PHP 5.4, the IDNA URL converting issue and the TinyMCE relative URLs problem.

The Contao Extension Repository now supports importing release files from a GitHub repository.

The Contao Live Update has been revised and has reached version 2.
