What is special about it

For the German Publishing Prize, a comprehensive website relaunch and a high-performance applicant and jury portal based on Contao were developed. This portal digitally maps the complex processes surrounding the funding program in an efficient and user-friendly manner.

The project's goal was to create a modern and user-friendly public website while simultaneously redesigning the entire application and evaluation process for publishers and jury members. The platform was designed to combine high usability, secure processes, and reliable management of large data volumes.

In addition to the complete design and technical implementation of the website, a custom portal was developed through which applications can be submitted, managed, and digitally evaluated by the jury in a structured way. Different user roles, multi-stage approval processes, and a clear distribution of rights and responsibilities ensure a smooth workflow throughout the entire process.

Particular emphasis was placed on a high-performance system architecture, intuitive user guidance, and a sustainably maintainable technical foundation. By digitizing the application and evaluation processes, manual administrative effort was significantly reduced, and the entire organization of the Publishing Prize was sustainably optimized.

The result is a modern, scalable Contao platform that professionally combines public communication, applicant management and jury work, making the German Publishing Prize digitally future-proof.
