Lebenswerte Veedel – Bürger- und Sozialraumorientierung in Köln

What is special about it

The main goal of citizen and social space orientation in Cologne is to improve the living conditions of the residents. The project is a technical and design relaunch of already existing websites for the "Veedel e.V. Gemeinwesenarbeit in Köln".

In addition to the main landing page, 15 web pages for "social spaces" are reproduced within a single Contao installation. The main focus of the project was to implement only Contao standards as far as possible. Therefore, almost no module extensions were used. In the backend, however, a "CSS Wizzard" was implemented as a proprietary development, with which editors can assign CSS classes with a click of the mouse to ensure an optimal display of all components in the frontend. The project was rounded off with a DCA extension that allows background images to be conveniently added to articles (including image changes and parallax effects).
