The BERGER Group is one of the largest construction companies in Germany - active in building construction and civil engineering, road and bridge construction as well as in the raw materials and concrete industry. With around 2,700 employees, BERGER is one of the industry leaders. For such a strong company, the website should have an equally solid foundation. Within just four months, a modern website was created that clearly structures all business areas. The centerpiece is a central reference database with numerous construction projects, supplemented by an up-to-date news section and an interactive location map with all branches and plants. The careers section is also particularly strong: all job vacancies are maintained centrally, can be searched specifically and applied for directly via a multi-level online form. The connection to the BITE application software ensures that everything runs smoothly in the background. Despite over 1,400 individual pages, the site runs quickly and reliably thanks to lean programming. Subtle micro-animations provide a modern look without affecting the loading time. The website was optimized for search engines, implemented in four languages and trimmed for performance right from the start - with consistently positive feedback from the entire group of companies.
