What is special about it

For Hülshorst's website, a modern, high-performance, and technically customized web presence was developed using Contao. This strengthens the company's digital presence and significantly streamlines internal processes.

The project's goal was to professionally present the company's products and services, target international users, and simultaneously create a technically sustainable platform for daily content and data maintenance. In addition to a modern design and clear user navigation, the focus was particularly on automation, multilingualism, and efficient editorial work.

Several Contao extensions were implemented, including a social feed for the automated integration of current social media content, the terminal42 language switcher for convenient multilingual navigation, and the Notification Center for the reliable management and automation of form and contact processes.

A key component of the project was also the integration with the company's existing product database. This allows product information to be automatically synchronized and kept up-to-date without duplicate data entry, ensuring a consistent database across multiple systems.

In addition, a specially developed backend module, "Git Connect," has been integrated, enabling the management of Git repositories directly within the Contao backend. This allows developers and editors to efficiently combine code changes and content updates, including branch management, commit history, recovery functions, and integrated SSH key management. Security mechanisms such as auto-stash, protection against concurrent operations, and blocked force pushes to protected branches ensure secure, productive use.

The result is a powerful Contao platform that optimally combines modern web design, automated data processes, and professional development workflows.
