Happy fifth birthday, Contao
Exactly five years ago today, the Contao project has been registered at sourceforge.net - it was still called TYPOlight back then. Two weeks later, on March 12th, 2006, version 1 was published.
Since then, the success of the project and its community has grown steadily: In January 2011 alone, the software has been downloaded 25,000 times. Among the many users, there are meanwhile also well-known companies like McFit, Lufthansa Systems or Fujitsu as well as prominent individuals like Demba Ba or Alfons Schuhbeck.
