As part of our ongoing efforts to centralize the Contao resources, we are launching the Contao theme store today: a platform for designers who want to offer commercial Contao themes.

Together with other CMSs Contao team plans to have a joint stand at CeBIT 2013

Fabian Fauth, one of the founding members of the Contao-Team in 2008, has resigned from the team for personal and work related reasons.

Contao version 3.0.1 is available. The bugfix release fixed a couple of issues, including that page alias names could not contain Unicode characters anymore.

Contao version 2.11.7 is available. The bugfix release fixes a couple of bugs, including problems when sending e-mails, the missing dependency check when updating multiple extensions at once and the generation of wrong page aliases.

The Contao project website has been switched to a secure SSL connection.

Thanks to Tristan and Xtra from the "Extension Repository" workgroup, we have received a detailed estimation from the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) regarding the question to which extent the LGPL license protects the Contao copyright notice from being altered or removed.

Extended locales such as "en_US" are already supported in the Contao Check and will be supported in the Contao core in the upcoming feature release (Contao 3.1). But when do they make sense?

Contao version 3.0.0 is available. After more than 7 months of development and testing, the first stable release of the new Contao major version 3 is now available for download.

In the last team call, we have decided to concretize the Contao release cycle regarding the difference between the release types (major and minor) as well as the release dates.
