The Contao partner program has existed in its current form since 2011. To better meet today's requirements, there will be some long-awaited adjustments this year.

Extended categories

In order to better reflect the areas of activity of the partners and to allow potential clients a targeted search, there will be more categories in the future. The choice of categories will no longer affect the annual fee. Each partner can select the services they offer and for which they would like to receive inquiries.

Multiple locations for companies

In the future, companies will have the option of adding multiple locations, which will be displayed both in the partner map and in the proximity search. Any number of locations can be added, as long as they are the same company (same company name).

A separate contact person with their own contact details can be stored for each location.

Lower annual fee for freelancers

In the future, a partnership will cost 179,- Euro per year for solo self-employed persons or freelancers and 249,- Euro per year for companies.

A premium partnership will cost 479,- Euro per year for solo self-employed persons or freelancers and 599,- Euro per year for companies. Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, we can no longer offer free conference tickets for premium partners.

All prices are gross prices.

Corporate partners

Up to four agencies will be able to act as corporate partners in the future. A corporate partnership will probably cost around 400,- Euro per month and will include further benefits, such as the preferred positioning in the partner directory as well as the integration of the company logo with backlink in our Github repository.

The goal is not to devalue the premium status by having as many corporate partners as possible. The number of corporate partners is therefore limited to four.

Sustainable financing

We want to use the additional revenue - especially if we manage to win four corporate partners - so that the core developers can take even more and especially more regular time for Contao.

Note for existing partners

The existing partner logos will not change. So you do not have to make any adjustments to your websites, business cards and the like.

Existing partner contracts will remain valid until the end of the paid term. After that, the new conditions will apply automatically. Of course, you can cancel your partner contracts at any time if you do not want to support the changes. However, with regard to the sustainability of the project, we would be happy if as many partners as possible stayed with us.
