Ben Robinson, a Contao pioneer and our ambassador in the United States, retires from the Contao team because of a change of career.

The upcoming Contao version 2.10 includes a very powerful new feature which allows you to forget about CSS hacks, conditional comments and other browser detection measures: It will add different CSS classes to the body tag depending on the operating system and browser.

Contao version 2.9.4 is available. The maintenance release improves the CSS 3 support of the style sheet importer, adds two new hooks and fixes several smaller bugs.

Unfortunately, the description of how to resume an interrupted newsletter mailing is wrong in both the Contao back end and the official Contao book. You have to enter the number of the next recipient instead of the number of the next sending cycle in the "start cycle" field.

Andreas Schempp made the effort and created an overview which presents all the fields and key identifiers of the Contao-database tables.

The Contao partner program, which has been available since 2008, is a worldwide network of professional agencies that use Contao and want to present their services on the project website. It has been completely reworked this year.

Contao version 2.9.3 is available. The maintenance release fixes an XSS vulnerability in the comments system, so an update is highly recommended.
