Cyril Ponce has been a TYPOlight enthusiastic ever since. Besides translating the CMS into French, he runs "typolight.fr", a platform for French-speaking users including full documentation, tutorial videos and a forum. He also participated in the TYPOlight logo contest and made it to the final three.

TYPOlight version 2.7.0 is available. The minor release includes a new 2-column back end layout, improved security functions, extended search engine optimization options, featured news, a book navigation module and a lot more. Furthermore, all plugins have been updated and all language files have been overworked. With more than 100 tickets, version 2.7 is one of the biggest releases ever.

TYPOlight version 2.7.RC2 is available. The second release candidate will be the last one before the final release. There have been a lot of changes and improvements, so it is likely that your website needs adaptation. Download the package to check what needs to be done, but do not use it for productional websites.

TYPOlight version 2.6.7 is available. The maintenance release fixes the issue with relative links in newsletters not being converted correctly, the issue with ampersands in square brackets not being decoded everywhere and two issues with infinitely recurring events. It also includes an important patch to prevent protected pages with no groups assigned from showing up in search results.

TYPOlight version 2.6.6 is available. Basically, you only need to download the maintenance release if your website requires to run the Safe Mode Hack.

The early release of version 2.6.5, which was one of the rare bugfix releases, made it perfectly clear that even changes that only affect one single line may have serious consequences.

TYPOlight version 2.6.5 is available. The maintenance release fixes a few bugs related to the new SEO-friendly image cache and the lightbox script.

TYPOlight version 2.6.4 is available. The maintenance release includes a few improvements of the permission system (regular users can now create news archives, calendars, forms etc.), a new TinyMCE plugin to insert lightbox images and some important bug fixes, thereunder a TinyMCE update to version 3.2.1.1 that hopefully fixes the issue with the rich text editor not showing up occasionally.

TYPOlight version 2.6.3 is available. The maintenance release includes a hardened Input class that detects even more malicious XSS code (e.g. in BBCode comments) as well as an important Safe Mode Hack fix (thanks to Peter Koch for tracking this one down), so it is highly recommended to update.
