TYPOlight is one of the finalists of the Packt Publishing Open Source CMS Award 2007. It has been nominated in the category of "Most Promising Finalists".

TYPOlight version 2.4.6 is available. The new build includes some new features and another mbstring workaround that should allow to run TYPOlight even on those servers that do not support Unicode regular expressions. We are still waiting for dfGallery to be completed before TYPOlight 2.5 is released.

The official TYPOlight template shop is now online! TYPOlight templates and TYPOlight services are provided by iNet Robots Ltd. & Co. KG.

Although TYPOlight has been a PHP5 application ever since and does run stable on PHP 5.1+, we have decided to join the goPHP5.org mission and to make PHP 5.2.0 the minimum requirement. Therefore, as from 5th February 2008, we will accept code snippets that use language features found exclusively in PHP 5.2.

TYPOlight version 2.4.4 is available. The new build includes some important hooks that are required by some third party extensions (e.g. form2db). There are still some major tasks on the roadmap that have to be completed before the next major version (2.5) can be released.

The latest TYPOlight build (2.4.2) includes a custom mbstring library that does not require the PHP mbstring extension anymore. Thus, TYPOlight should now work on all Strato servers (Strato is a big German host that refused to install the mbstring extension on their shared hosting servers).

TYPOlight version 2.4.0 is available and can be downloaded from github.com. There are a lot of new powerful features like the guestbook / comments module, the template editor, the calendar / events module, the newsletter tool and the clipboard.

We are proud to present two TYPOlight Open Source CMS reviews that have been published in German magazines. The authors particularly point out the usability of the system: "you do not have to be a CMS expert and especially not a programmer to get along with the CMS right away."

TYPOlight version 2.3.2 is available and can be downloaded from github.com. Please note that the built-in CSS framework has been completely redone and therefore make sure to use the layout merger tool and to check your existing style sheets.

The TYPOlight project website has been redone again and now presents itself in a clean and modern design. The site structure has been optimized and especially the development section has been highly improved. The support forum is now integrated into the main theme.
